Guam Uk Products – Review

I was given the opportunity to try some of their products which I was obviously excited about after reading up on them and how they have proven results. I was sent a selection of their products to try and was excited to give them all a go.

Anti cellulite mud

How to use: Apply mud to dry skin, wrap in clingfilm, leave 45 minutes then rinse off with plenty of warm water only

Seaweed mud wrap for Tummy, waist and hips

How to use: Apply to dry skin, wrap in clingfilm, leave 40 minutes then rinse off with warm water, don’t use shower products.

Fangocrema Notte – this is a Night treatment cream

How to use: you put it on at night, get into your pyjamas and then rinse off in the morning. it is a slimming/body reshaping cream. it has a high level of salt so you will see a salt film layer form on the skin, which can last hours after application. it is an active tingling product so do not worry if you experience tingling, just means product is working. in the morning rinse off. i would suggest wearing something over your skin in bed, so as not to have the salt on your bed linen.

Fangocrema Giorno, this is a slimming/reshaping DAY treatment 

How to use: you simply apply and leave on, no rinse. Again an active tingling sensation which will subside but I recommend for any of the active tingling products that you try a little first till you get used to it.

The active tingling is a feature in many of GUAM’s products but they also have cold (cooling effect) versions of some of these products for those who may not like that sensation or for those with more sensitive skin.

Leg Relief Cream Gel, cooling effect – Relaxes heavy legs, ankles. Great during pregnancy and for people who suffer from tired legs.

How to use: Just massage on to the legs, ankles and feet.

Tummy and Waist – Mudbased cream

How to use: Apply to dry skin, leave on and do not rinse off. Wash hands immediately after use. your tummy will feel hot and will go red, that is normal and lasts only 15-20 minutes.

Breast Volumising Cream, push up effect – has a tensor, toning lifting effect

How to apply: massage on to the breasts and neck area (avoiding the nipple) and leave on, don’t rinse.

I tried all of the products over a week and the first thing I noticed about the products was that they all smelled so nice and made my skin smell lovely all day. I was slightly sceptical about whether they would work or not  but have to say I did actually see results straight away. It was very difficult for me to photograph results, due to having to be naked for photos (which I won’t subject you to). The two products that were my favourites were the anti-cellulite mud wrap and the Leg cooling cream.

The anti cellulite mud was a bit weird when first putting it on as it was a grey/green coloured mud that I had to cover myself in and then wrap myself up with cling film (as shown in photo). I thought it would be extremely uncomfortable but I actually found it really soothing and not at all uncomfortable sitting with it all on. I just wore my PJ’s on top and my partner wasn’t even aware I had it on underneath. I did see an instant improvement to my body after washing it off, although it was only slight I could see how much firmer my skin appeared especially on my bum area. It really did provided instant results after using and I enjoyed a bit of pampering time, it made me feel very relaxed. The biggest difference I noticed was the following day. I walked passed the mirror and caught a glance of myself and thought I looked a lot less lumpy and bump than normal.

The leg relief cream was just so amazing after a full day of shopping being on my feet. I put it on my legs and feet right before going to bed and it actually soothed my legs and all the muscles. I convinced my Mr to try it (he hates trying skincare products normally) and after doing one leg he actually requested that I do the other too, so he definitely felt the benefits of using it.

One of the products I was most excited to try was the Breast Push up cream since I have always wanted to find a way to give my bust a bit of a lift since having my son with them not being as perky as they used to be. I don’t have much to report about this cream as of yet as it is meant to work over time and so far I haven’t got much to tell. However I love how it feels on my skin and love how it smells!

The Tummy and waist cream was rather weird because it made your skin go very red for around 15 to 20 minutes (as shown in photo) and created a warming sensation. Although it was strange I loved that I could actually see and feel it working. The warm tingling sensation wasn’t painful or unpleasant and never got to be unbearable. I did definitely see an improvement in how toned the area looked after using it.

I really did enjoy using the products and regardless of the results it was like giving myself mini spa treatments. I could quite happily dedicate a night every week to applying these product as a bit of ‘me time’. I would be interested to see how the products improve my shape/skin over a longer period of time and would recommend the products to others, especially mums like myself who maybe feel they could do with tightening things up a bit.
