The Perfect Baby Shower
It was my baby shower the other weekend! What an amazing day I had! Was it totally over the top? Yes! Was it cheap? Hell no! Was it worth it? 100%! I decided after the totally shit year I’d had and going through the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life with my little Elijah, I would have an awesome baby shower this time around. I never got to have one with Elijah with having him at 21 weeks. This pregnancy has been extra stressful for me too. Worrying constantly that this baby will have the same genetic condition that our baby boy had. Being told that…

A Big Announcement
It’s been so so difficult to keep this a secret until now, especially thanks to my already big bump! We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are due a little princess in July 2019! In the video above we announce this to our little boy who had no idea. He just thought mummy had been eating too much food! It’s been a very very difficult journey so far physically and emotionally. Physically I have had to deal with the joys of pregnancy. From severe morning sickness starting at 5 weeks to SPD and tiredness whilst working full time. The morning (all day) sickness is only just starting to ease…

Have we found closure? So many emotions
So I haven’t actually posted anything since the post about our baby boy Elijah and what we went through back in March. I have been having a bit of time out to grieve, to focus on my family and to try and get through the tough times. I am keen to write again and post videos as they really do provide some kind of comfort to me. Being able to just write or say everything that is flying around my head constantly actually does me some good. And if people read or watch what I post then that really is a bonus. If you don’t already know what happened…

The worst moment of my life…..the moment I lost my baby
This blog post is very hard to write but at the same time provides me with some form of comfort and relief. I have always found writing blog posts and recording vlogs quite therapeutic, no matter how many people do or don’t read/watch them. Whilst I really do hope that someone out there appreciates what I post, it isn’t the primary reason I do what I do. I like that I have something I can keep that isn’t just a photo I’ve taken here and there. Something that has grown with me over the years that I can look back on and share with future children or family members. That…

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!
So it’s no secret that I have been slacking on the blogging and social media side of things since end of last year. I hate not being able to keep up with my blog but then again I have had a pretty good reason not to!……. I am excited to finally announce that we have another baby on the way in August!! It has been a hard 12 weeks that is for sure! I have suffered the dreaded pregnancy sickness. No I won’t call it morning sickness as that implies that I was just sick on a morning. NO NO, I have been sick all day and night every day…

The Sites that will help you win when buying a gift for your child
Buying Christmas presents for your child can be difficult. Especially as us parents find it hard to keep up with what is ‘cool’ and the latest toys or most wanted gifts regularly coming out. As they grow up they go through different phases and their personality changes all the time. You could find one minute you have a barbie doll loving child and the next the dolls are boxed up and it’s all about football and the outdoors. From princess to tom boy, just as you feel you are getting up to date on their current interests they like to completely change things up and move on. Trying to keep…
