Belated Family-moon post of our visit to Butlins
So this post is wayyy overdue as we went on our familymoon in September 2017!! But with so much happening so soon after our honeymoon I have just never had a second to even think about it. I was looking back over photos and it reminded me to finally get on the case with writing about our trip. Especially since we have just had our first anniversary last month!! As if we have been married over a year already! So it was really difficult deciding what to do for our honeymoon as it wasn’t just about us really, we also have our 4 year old to think about and he…

My First Scalextric Set – Review
I remember as a kid my dad getting this super impressive Scalextric set out of the loft for my brother and I to play with. We used to love it and my dad loved that we were enjoying playing with a toy he used to like when he was younger. We were probably nearer the age of 10 when we played with it so we weren’t that young and it never occurred to me that Reid might like to play with something like that with him only just coming up 4. It seemed like more of a grown up kid toy that was possibly even a bit too dangerous for…

Lightwater Valley Trip With A Toddler – Blog & Vlog
I was slightly delayed in posting this, mainly because we went on the trip the last week of the holidays and then the week after I was away for a week and just not long got back. You can watch the vlog on what we got up to whilst at Lightwater Valley above. I went there with my mum and little guy as a kind of ‘girl’s day out’ but of course with Reid and we only decided to go there literally late the night before. Up until that point we were thinking of going to South Lakes Safari Zoo, but after doing a bit of research and reading a…

My Fairytale Wedding Invitations
Since my mum has her own event management/wedding planning business, which I used to work for and my other half now works for, I am slightly feeling the pressure when it comes to my wedding. People keep saying things like ‘I bet it’s amazing having a wedding planner for a mum’. ‘The wedding will be amazing’. Well whatever we do it will be amazing for us which is what is important but I do want to get people excited about it. I might be biased but I do think its going to be awesomeness! So I wanted to start getting people excited and give little sneak previews of what to…

Easter Fun
Now that I am an adult, Easter usually just seems a bit of a pain in the butt rather than something to look forward to. Whilst I love how excited my little guy gets and the fact that it’s the first year he has known what the Easter Bunny is, it’s just more money and lot of chocolate which sucks when you are trying to lose weight! I wanted to try do something fun however and actually turn it in to a nice weekend and quite quickly our laid back weekend ended up being quite a busy one. Friday was just spent doing things in the house, nothing special really…

Date Night At Thaikhun
If you have been following me for a while you will already know just how much I love and rave about Thaikhun. You may have even seen my previous review of when I went with the family for the launch of their new Children’s menu. So I have reviewed how great it is to go as a family, but this time we had the rare opportunity to go there for a date night, just the two of us. This meant I even got to have a cocktail…or two and we could relax, take our time and enjoy stuffing our faces. For those of you who don’t know, Thaikhun (meaning ‘your’…
