A Magical Enchanted Christmas at Hardwick Hall
***Please note**** Enchanted Christmas is no longer running and the company behind this event closed down. ‘Believe Christmas’ is NOT the same event. Whilst yes it is at the same location with some of the same props it is run by a whole new company. The people running this company did work for the previous company who ran Enchanted Christmas before but this was with a big team, big budget and a lot more resources. Therefore please do not read this review with the idea that the new event will be the same. I cannot give any advice on what the new event will be like, no one can and…

Glamping in style
Anyone who knows me well will know how much I am not a fan of camping/roughing it! I hate bugs, creepy crawlies and I hate being cold. So you can imagine how much I was dreading staying in a wigwam in October! Basically It was my dad’s 50th in June and I struggled to know what to get him that was special. I knew he just wanted to spend time with me and I know he loves camping so I decided to bite the bullet and buy a voucher for us all to go, and put aside my dislike of it (on this one occasion). I thought we would plan…

My Little Model’s London Trip
Myself, My partner and our little guy are all signed up with agencies as a family to do modelling. This is just something I have always done as I was always with agencies from being very small, starting with Pampers Adverts! A lot of people will have opinions on parent’s putting their little one’s with agencies and letting them do modelling. I think most people think that it is a case of pushy parents wanting their child to be a model, so they can be like, my baby is so good looking and he actually does modelling. Although for some parent’s yes this is totally the case, in reality a…

The Kingslodge Inn (Durham) – Review
I was invited to try food at a pub/Hotel in Durham called The Kingslodge Inn. I live in Durham and I have to admit, it isn’t often that I get asked to review places so close to home. It is always Newcastle or somewhere further away in County Durham. I was so happy to discover that the Kingslodge Inn was roughly a 15 minute journey from my house! We only bought our home here in Durham a year ago so we are always still looking for places to go for food as a family. We decided to go the day after the Mr’s Birthday to carry on the celebrations and make the…

Le Raaj Indian Cuisine – Sedgefield Review
I was offered the opportunity to try out a restaurant fairly local to me in Sedgefield, County Durham called Le Raaj. The restaurant serves traditional Indian cuisine and is located just off the A177. I am not a huge curry fan but the Mr certainly is so I decided to try it for him and because we are always looking for new places to go for meals. To be honest the main reason I am not a huge fan of curries/Indian food is purely due to my own ignorance. I don’t like really spicy food so because Indian food uses a lot of spices I just have it in my…

Zapatista Burrito Bar Review
I have recently started reviewing local restaurants on my blog (many of which have branches in other areas). It’s not that I didn’t review them before it’s just that I didn’t have much time originally to actually go out and try the food. I am now however really enjoying the opportunity of trying new places and I love food so it is the perfect thing for me to review on here. Plus we all love a good photo of yummy food creations. I was invited to try Zapatista Burrito Bar in Newcastle, which I had never actually been to before. There are actually two branches in Newcastle and I was…
