BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!
So it’s no secret that I have been slacking on the blogging and social media side of things since end of last year. I hate not being able to keep up with my blog but then again I have had a pretty good reason not to!……. I am excited to finally announce that we have another baby on the way in August!! It has been a hard 12 weeks that is for sure! I have suffered the dreaded pregnancy sickness. No I won’t call it morning sickness as that implies that I was just sick on a morning. NO NO, I have been sick all day and night every day…

The Sites that will help you win when buying a gift for your child
Buying Christmas presents for your child can be difficult. Especially as us parents find it hard to keep up with what is ‘cool’ and the latest toys or most wanted gifts regularly coming out. As they grow up they go through different phases and their personality changes all the time. You could find one minute you have a barbie doll loving child and the next the dolls are boxed up and it’s all about football and the outdoors. From princess to tom boy, just as you feel you are getting up to date on their current interests they like to completely change things up and move on. Trying to keep…

Where To Go On Holiday With Little Ones
After not long returning from my honeymoon (blog coming soon), I am already dreaming of my next holiday. Our honeymoon was absolutely amazing but was for just the husband and I. Although we had the best time we naturally missed our little guy not being with us (although he didn’t seem to miss us!). Probably the most difficult thing for me was looking at kids things at the hotel and thinking, Reid would love that. Even though I knew he was having the time of his life on a mini holiday with his grandparents it was hard seeing things that I knew he would like and wishing he was there…

My First Scalextric Set – Review
I remember as a kid my dad getting this super impressive Scalextric set out of the loft for my brother and I to play with. We used to love it and my dad loved that we were enjoying playing with a toy he used to like when he was younger. We were probably nearer the age of 10 when we played with it so we weren’t that young and it never occurred to me that Reid might like to play with something like that with him only just coming up 4. It seemed like more of a grown up kid toy that was possibly even a bit too dangerous for…

Preparing Your Garden For Autumn/Winter – What Do You Do?
We only bought our first home 2 years ago and before that we had rented 4 different properties. Therefore its only really been 2 years that we have had a garden that we actually care about maintaining, so we are still pretty new to this. I feel like maintaining a garden in the summer is pretty obvious…you mow the lawn and the only real worry is remembering not to leave the cushions out overnight on the chairs (I usually did forget though). If you have a more creative garden with plants and things then I imagine there is a lot of maintaining in the Summer but luckily mine is just…
