How to Have Fun This Summer Holiday Without Spending a Fortune
The Summer holidays for kids means fun and no school for 6 weeks. For parents however it can mean expensive trips out to keep them entertained and it can be hard to think of lots of things to do. The top attractions can be far too expensive and aside from your local freebies/cheap days out such as parks, museums and farms it really can be difficult to come up with other ideas. I have put together a list of fun things that should be available to most people depending on where they live and how far you can travel. Some great ways to go to some of the best attractions…

Feather & Bone Face Gems Review
You may notice that I review a lot of skin care products on my blog. Although I love trying out all of these exciting new face creams, I do have really sensitive skin and have to be careful what I use on it. I was contacted by a new company about trying one of their face washes and it was something very different to what I had tried before. Feather & Bone is an inventive, fresh and unique personal care company. They are dedicated to the creation of fresh product solutions. Uniquely for YOU. At Feather & Bone their goal and mission is for men and women to feel empowered by…

Baby Swimming Lessons with Swimtime
So i probably haven’t mentioned that since earlier on in the year, my little guy has been having swimming lessons. Not the sing song splash and dance kind of lessons but actual swimming lessons (ok so we do sing the odd song and there is some splashing involved). We joined a course 5 weeks in which meant that we were pretty much thrown in the deep end (pun intended) as soon as we started. Reid doesn’t exactly hate swimming but before starting these lessons, for the entire time we were in water he would cling tight to me and freak out if I even try to move him off me a bit or…

Haven family modelling job – East Sussex
If you are a fan of our facebook page then you may have noticed that myself along with my son and partner were away last week for a paid family modelling job we got through our agency. It was a modelling job for Haven Holidays in East Sussex. The job was both a video and photo shoot and we were also joined by our pretend parents who were actually a real couple, also with the same model agency as us. We were put up in a lovely little hotel right on the beach called The Cooden Beach Hotel. This was only 10 minutes from the Haven Holiday Park which we…

Duerr’s Rhubarb & Custard Jam Review
Duerr’s Homebaking Jam is specially developed for domestic ovens and ensures the jam retains its smooth and glossy consistency when heated. It guarantees that your jammy filling does justice to your bake, producing a moist filling, a good wobble and a professional finish. I was sent a rather unusal flavour of jam to try from Duerr’s which was Rhubarb & Custard and I just couldn’t wait to try it. The Jam is suitable for Vegetarians, Vegans and is gluten free. It looked like regular strawberry jam and I have to admit I was a little skeptical about whether it would actually taste like Rhubarb & Custard and whether the flavour…

Shoe Zone – Lilley Strappy Wedge Sandals Review
I was offered the opportunity to choose any pair of shoes from Shoe Zone online to review. I have never ordered from Shoe Zone before so I was definitely interested to find out how this bargain shoe store compared to some of the other stores out there! I chose the Lilley strappy wedge sandals in black – £14.99, as I seem to have such a large collection of boots and winter shoes but I am lacking in the spring/summer shoe department. Plus I thought they looked gorgeous and would go with a lot. They arrived very quickly and they looked just as beautiful in real life as they did on…
