Becoming a mummy – The Blog Post I Never Published
I have been writing this blog post, since I basically had my son 3 years ago. It has taken me so long to write it because I just couldn’t find the words I wanted to say, and I also never felt completely confident to post it. Why I decided now was the right time,I really don’t know. I think seeing a few stories recently by other mums has inspired me to just finally post this! Most people when they talk about becoming a mum and how it affected them mentally think about this overwhelming love, and a need to protect your baby that develops. They talk about being emotional and…

Elf’s Christmas Wish – Gala Theatre
I was offered the opportunity to attend a Christmas show at the Gala Theatre today with my little man called Elf’s Christmas Wish. It is a charming and interactive introduction to theatre which engages the senses and inspires the imagination. It includes original music, movement and puppets and the simple storytelling is perfect for the under 5s to enjoy with their families at Christmas time. I decided that it sounded like a lovely thing to take my 3 year old to and that it would be good to prepare him for when he goes to see a pantomime later this month. The show was in the studio upstairs in the Gala theatre which…

A Magical Enchanted Christmas at Hardwick Hall
***Please note**** Enchanted Christmas is no longer running and the company behind this event closed down. ‘Believe Christmas’ is NOT the same event. Whilst yes it is at the same location with some of the same props it is run by a whole new company. The people running this company did work for the previous company who ran Enchanted Christmas before but this was with a big team, big budget and a lot more resources. Therefore please do not read this review with the idea that the new event will be the same. I cannot give any advice on what the new event will be like, no one can and…

My Little Model’s London Trip
Myself, My partner and our little guy are all signed up with agencies as a family to do modelling. This is just something I have always done as I was always with agencies from being very small, starting with Pampers Adverts! A lot of people will have opinions on parent’s putting their little one’s with agencies and letting them do modelling. I think most people think that it is a case of pushy parents wanting their child to be a model, so they can be like, my baby is so good looking and he actually does modelling. Although for some parent’s yes this is totally the case, in reality a…

Toddler Bedroom Transformation – Paw Patrol
You may have already read my blog post on us buying our first house and it being the first time we have had our own house to do up. Well as I already mentioned, it is a new build so everything was white/cream and bare when we moved in. We have been slowly putting our own stamp on each room and one of the rooms that really bugged me was our little man’s room. He used to have a lovely little nursery in his old house even though it was rented and just all cream, but with his furniture and bedding it all looked nice and worked together. When we…

Have Fun This Summer Holiday Without Breaking The Bank 2016
The Summer holidays for kids means no school for 6 weeks and lotsss of fun. However it can be quite stressful for us parents, as it can mean expensive trips out and always trying to think of lots of things to do. The top attractions can be ridiculously expensive and aside from your local freebies/cheap days out such as parks, museums and farms it really can be difficult to come up with other ideas. I have put together another list this year of fun things that should be available to most people depending on where they live and how far you can travel. Some great ways to go to some of the best attractions…
