ShopaholicUK.com – Monroe Lace Midi & Beatriz Co-ord Review
If you haven’t already checked out my other blog post about Shopaholic UK yet and their fantastic bandage dresses then make sure to have a read of my other post here. You will see that I am a huge fan of them and was absolutely delighted to be given the opportunity to review for them again. Waiting for the items to arrive, I was like a little child at Christmas. I decided to choose two very different items from last time to show the range and choice of what they had to offer. It was a very difficult task trying to choose just two, I remember having about 5 people involved in the…

25 Years Young! But Feeling Old!
Last week was my Birthday. It was a crazy busy week, especially as it was my Birthday, My dad’s 50th and also a big event that my mum’s company was organising. I barely had time to fit my little Birthday in, but that didn’t mean my Mr hadn’t put the effort in. Starting the day before on the Sunday baking with my two boys and making my Birthday cake and cookies. On my actual Birthday had also organised a lovely day for me starting with breakfast and fizz in bed, afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie in Durham and then a meal at one of my favourite restaurants, Fat Buddah on…

Is Your Garden Toddler Safe for Summer?
As parents, we’re frequently bombarded with information about how to keep our little ones safe around the home. Supervision and…

Betta Living Bedroom Transformation
So a few months back I entered a competition for a bedroom transformation that, to be quite honest I had completely forgotten about! It was to win a bedroom transformation of up to £3500 from Betta Living and I think the competition was on Facebook. Well I only blumming went and won it (I still feel in shock now)! At first I was waiting for a catch, like you have to pay for fitting or spend over a certain amount, but nope, unless I wanted to spend more than £3500 I didn’t have to pay anything whatsoever. I wasn’t 100% sure what ‘transformation’ included exactly but I was very excited to…

Alton Towers Mini Holiday Vlog
On Sunday, my family and I went on a little family holiday to Alton Towers and stayed in the resort for the first time. It was also the first time I had been since I was a teenager and the first time my son and my partner had been. I decided to record the trip and make it in to a Vlog that hopefully shows just how much fun we had. It features the Peter Rabbit Room that we stayed in and the brand new Rollercoaster Restaurant that we ate at which was crazy (but amazing! It was such an amazing trip and I felt like a kid again! Although…

The Perfect Parent Brigade
I just had to write this post and although I didn’t know what I was going to write before I started, I knew I had to write something. Most parents by now will have heard of the term ‘Perfect Parent Brigade’. If you haven’t then basically it is a term given (usually over social media) to parents who believe they know better and who tell other parents, basically, how to be a parent. Almost all parents will have been on the receiving end of comments from a member of the ‘perfect parent brigade’ and especially if you became a mum/dad after all the Facebook parenting groups and pages began. Our grandparents/parents were quite…
